There are some projects that feel especially meaningful to create. For me, launching the Mitten Masterpiece Michigan State University Collection is one of them.
Michigan State University has been an important part of my life for many years. As both an educator and longtime member of the Spartan community, I’ve always appreciated the traditions, pride, and sense of belonging that comes with being part of Spartan Nation. That connection made designing our new Michigan State University paint-by-number kits particularly special.

My Personal Connection to Michigan State
This collection is more than just a new product line for Mitten Masterpiece—it’s also deeply personal.
I currently teach at Michigan State University, and the campus has been an important part of my professional journey in marketing and communication. Being able to design artwork that celebrates MSU while also building my Michigan-based creative business feels like a meaningful intersection of the two worlds I care about most: education and creativity.
Michigan State has always had a strong culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and community. Those values are very much reflected in Mitten Masterpiece as well.
